Echotime : ‘Side’ CD May 2017 Rockshots Music. Italian Rock/Hard Rock/Progressive/Folk band. Kick ass cover to start and get you straight into the band’s universe. Pretty hard to put into any category since they are using different music style in their album. It can be taken as a movie storyline.

‘Side’ is a concept album, a journey through the life of the major character called Lily. Corruption, violence, war are the main problems of this allegorical world where all the narrated lives are bended together by music which create different atmosphere story by story. Echotime

Nine tracks with each an intro having speaking people like movie exerts to get into the lyrics contexts, not any having the same spirit so you really have to dig the music and get into the Echotime universe to drawn in your head’s fantasy.

A beautiful album yet very original in a way, really not usual and this is the wish of the band they remarkably managed to get. A musical book and movie for those who don’t like to read or watch a movie you get all in one package but you get your mind working instead or your eyes.

They have influences from Evergrey, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Kamelot, Queensryche,Pain Of Salvation, Circus Maximus and Gypsy’s music . They are plenty of pop / rock bands I think about while listening to this album but not cited in those influences. You will  make your own mind but don’t play it thinking of any band in particular it has to get you deep into your imagination 95/100.
