Imari Tones : “Jesus Wind” CD & Digital 16th November 2017 Sel Release. Japan Hard Rock / Heavy Metal band. It’s not everyday I receive an album from that country and wow I was really surprised about the great sound. The guitarist singer Tak decided to make a a concept album about religion between christianity and the Japanese beliefs .  All the lyrics are written towards that direction and sometimes words are taken from the books.

The album is divided in three parts, Past present and futur. While the band was used to play progressive rock they decided to make a heavier album regrouping high pitch vocals, melodic solos and heavy rhythms. So you will be sometimes sent back to the 80’s mighty sound of Motley Crue, Van Halen, Bitch, Stryper, Bon Jovi… and many more you rock onto. Two songs have the “live” sound like it has been recorded on stage but taken only from the mic as you can’t hear the crowd.

Fifteen tracks of different influences and vibe getting this album a must have (of course you have to dig the religion thing if not like me just listen to the music) for every Metalheads due to its great compostions. Great design and layout for the booklet, it’s an art on itself and we can say they give their blood into this album. Check for yourself you will be addicted :

A brilliant band with brilliant musicians a project that should keep it’s way through the boarders 100/100.
