Sinaya : “Maze of Madness” CD 10th August 2018 Brutal Records. Brazil Thrash / Death Metal band.

Brazil has been a country that saw many bands emerging since the mid nineties due to the success from Sepultura. This is great as you have plenty of bands from Heavy to Thrash to Death Metal and certainly extreme Metal too, they have a huge scene that we didn’t know except from the underground back then. So here comes an all female extreme Metal band that brings a fresh and powerful album mixing the influences from the early ages of Death Metal that will please all the fans of the genre.

What is good from Sinaya ‘s album is you are sent back in time when in the early nineties late eighties Thrash Metal was changing to Death Metal. It’ s heavy and groovy with from time to time a bit of doom moments. They managed to get their own style by combining the influences from the past.

Mylena Monaco has depending on the songs,  taints from Chuck Shuldiner with an edge of John Tardy’s vocals. Giving a special feel to the overall that just makes it awesome. Sometimes on the age between Sabina Classen and Mark “Barney” Greenway…She has definitively that voice capability to mix those melodies and harsh growling textures.

An album that is perfect having all the great tunes we love and cherished for decades. An amazing band that will explode the world and kick the scene hard. Get addicted by those ladies they deserve to be supported as they have a talent that is needed into this mess with bands searching for a special sound while Sinaya has it all . They know how to  spread the great tunes.

Influences ranging from Holy Moses, Kreator, a slight Machine Head touch, Death, Obituary, a bit of Carcass, early Paradise Lost, middle Entombed style…

What you haven’t bought the album yet? come on run…wait summer is not yet arrived but if you’ re lazy you can still buy the digital copy from their website … but If I were you I would wait to get that awesome album with great artwork and photos  , a powerful cover from the goddess.  This will be the album of the summer 100/100.
