Whyzdom : “As Time Turns To Dust” Digipack CD 6th April 2018 Scarlet Records . French Symphonic / Orchestra / Rock / Metal band. The fourth album from this talented band is very well constructed and amazingly powerful such as a top band yet still underrated. Mostly vocals in English , they are some parts in French and the voice is killing at some point. While they have toured with the highest bands in the genre they have parted ways several times with singers, and some musicians came back… The musical direction hasn’t changed so if you love the first albums you will love this one.
This album has more choir and a very movie sound track oriented helping out your mind to go through your imagination. An amazing cover artwork that describes the theme pretty well of the lyrics. The fifth song “Follow Your Heart” is one of the best track with heavy guitars, great solos, Â synthesizers enchanting the song and melodic voices.
Whyzdom is the band that sends you to high worlds if you let your soul go. Musically it has lots of influence from Within Temptation , some vocals parts reminds Chaos Heidi from Asylum Pyre . I hear some great line reminding London from WildeStarr. The fans of the genre will here Nightwish, Epica, Avantasia, Sonata Arctica , Therion …
They pretty summons the style and have their own place in this magical music that has no boundaries. They are releasing a new video on the 13th of March , but in the meantime I let you enjoy this video :
Some will say it is not “Original” due to the main ressemblance with Within Temptation, others will find a great way to love that band way more! We surely can give them credits for the awesome work they have brought to this masterpiece , as musicians and certainly perfectionists to add so much efforts and joining the Classic master mind with the orchestra. Nine songs of power and melodies to capture every hearts and soul 99/100.
