Steel Reign : “Change To Insane” CD 2020 Reissue Heaven and Hell Records. USA Heavy / Thrash Metal band.

Two friends from 1984 started a band. They got the complete line up in 1990 and released an amazing album in 1995.  That album is the one with a bloody eyed dropped design. “Change to Insane” deserves to be reissued! It came out at the wrong time and didn’t get the fame it deserves. What is most amazing,  is Steel Reign has released a masterpiece.

 A kick ass cover artwork with a Metal design reminding the eighties, compositions giving credit to the early and late eighties in just one album. As musicians evolving in the Heavy Metal and Thrash world , they got all the best riffs to bring a piece of art that the medias didn’t cover much. In Europe the music was changing in very strange way. I don’t recall even hearing about them.

So it is with pleasure that I discover this amazing band, and if you know them then you understand my feeling. It is damn heavy with those great riffs we all banged our head onto. Well conceived, the songs run slowly into your mind and you love that band in a minute! Originally a ten songs album, Jeremy Handh the owner of this amazing label , got us a special 500 copies filled with thirteen songs , photos and many more. 

A great collectible to own as a die hard Metal fan. Listening to Steel Reign ‘s first album, bring you back to 1984 greatest years to 1988. It is not a compilation , it is a great way to compose great songs from the masters. Your memory will get you back to your youth or at least to the dates that marked musical history.
