If many riffs as the song ‘higher ground’ reminds me a lot Satriani (‘flying in a blue dream mixed the extremist’)this is not a copy! his influences spills a lot of genius such as Malmsteen with classic parts as Jazz and Progressive licks . going from powerful heavy metal riffs and dancing tunes to slow nice parts…Franck is just an amazing guitarist who needs to get spread amongst the biggest.
He knows how to get you moving shaking and even feel emotions, the intro ‘Silent Lake’ brings you a nice feel to kick your ass with the next one ‘higher ground’ that got elevated by the awesome voice of Rob Rock and we want more as this is a hit single. It will lead the album to the highest place. Although the rest of the songs except one don’t have vocals the album doesn’t loose its power. The songs got loads of parts that speak for themselves and so it ‘s like the guitar is singing.
