N.M.A: “The Witch” LP and CD 11th August 2025 RoBnRoll Records. Switzerland Hard Rock band.
It’s always good to hear a band bringing another album when you thought they have disappeared. First album in 2019, it was time for a second one. This time there is a nice cover artwork, what I like from N.M.A is their sound.
Right in their roots, the music is a blend of the eighties Hard Rock with the Punk influences and of course the basic of sixties sounds. They are keeping the sound that defined the eighties and the genres that came through the nineties.
It is raw but with a melody that catches your ears and get you dance. With their Thrash Metal past, there is always something bleeding through. Passages are all linking each others to those great memories, big bands made us metalhead. Feeling like listening to a famous band from the eighties.
Have a taste:
Influences: Lita Ford, Joan Jett, Sex Pistols, Nena, The Exploited, The Cult, Faster Pussycats, Ozzy Osbourne, Ratt, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Doro, Coroner, Gang Green, and many others.
Each person will hear something that reminds them some memories of the past bands. The originality of N.M.A resides in their capabilities to create songs can easily makes it hard to find a main influence. It was worth the wait. Eleven tracks of pounding rocking tunes with even a funky song.
Play it loud and enjoy this brilliant piece of creation 100/100.
