The Fods: “…Is Very Much Enough?” Single 17th October 2025 Self Released. UK Punk / Rock / Blues band.
The band released last year an album with old demo tapes, hence the cover artwork with cassette tapes .. While the band is much into Punk music; the Rock influences are never far away. They did made a fiftish Rock song on that album.
They have been joined by Georgina White, actress and singer, to play an Iron Maiden cover. The ability of the lady made them want to use her potential to release this amazing bluesy song. The result is just astonishing. Magic voice and tenderness.
You are melting by just listening to that beautiful voice. The cover is calling you, whever it is curiosity or just the wish to hear a beautiful song. You will play it for long. As she said “when it is so deep“, you are falling in love. For sure it is paradoxal for a Punk band to release such a song. Yet it prooves their capabilities to explore over musical dimensions.

This is pure bluesy, soul song melting your heart forever. A song that could be a movie soundtrack.
The Fods might change it musical direction after this… It is great bands are doing several musical style to step aside from their usual creation. In a way it helps people who don’t know nor wish to listen to something else. For the others like me, they just appreciate the diversity and the beauty of the art we call music.
Georgina already plays this music on her own, you can listen to what she does on her utube channel, so joining a Punk band to first singing a Heavy Metal song then writng this beautiful blues masterpiece is a must.
