Veins : “Innocence” June 16th 2016 Rockshots Music. Italy Thrash/Death Metal band. While this is one year ago this album came out, I got it sent by the label to review it. The cover with the painting is somehow showing this is an Italian band. They always love those old paintings.
Reminding the raw underground bands having those Thrashy influences and getting the Death Metal way getting you to the first bands. The whole album is around a story about children losing their childhood. So the songs have all different feel as the song ‘Dying’ with cool parts.
Sometimes reminding Max Cavallera ‘s voice, sometimes John Tardy their roots are deep from the music style and will please different people. Cool solos at some point, the album is much like a painting and you have to dig the whole concept to get into the band’s soul.
Pretty interesting album even having some passages making think of Alice Cooper…90/100.
