Who could believe this band would come back? As a fan, I thought I would never seen nor hear them again. Yet they are here with a brand new album. I must say I bought the first single although I’m not after the digital things, I had to get my hear of the new song.
At first I thought it was too much compressed with a raw Death Metal sound that didn’t remind me the good old Dark Fucking Angel. Today I have bought the album, first for the collection then because it will be a collectible item in few days. The one you don’t miss out.
If the vinyls are back, they are still rare and those who can afford to buy them when the are released are so lucky. So let’s get back to this album. A powerful cover artwork all made in digital style. For those who don’t know who is Dark Angel, coming back from the dead.

Eleven songs in the memory of Jim Durkin, former member of the band. It is a celebration to one of their friend. The spirit of the music is still here. We all grow old and people change. The heaviness and pounding madness is still here. Ron can’t get those high pitch vocals anymore, I miss those. You will hear some passages reminding the early days, but in the overall it sounds brutally new! It rips us appart and at the end it is Dark Angel.
Collectible items, in red LP and CD, different cover artwork, T-shirts.. they are for everyone. But it’s not going to last long so get your hands on it.
The good thing is the band is going to tour a lot to promote this new piece and keep the legacy of the power of Thrash Metal to last.
