False Messiah: “Seven” Digital 19th June 2026 Semetery Records. Quebec Modern Metal band.
With the new era of AI and all the bank of music library. It is hard to know what’s real and what’s not. This project unite several musicians from many countries. In this album we only know two musicians Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast/Sinsaenum), Craig Cairns (Tailgunner) as guest.
The website, has lots of great graphic design but no name to tell about the founders of the band. I have searched and strangely haven’t found infos about them. So it’s with difficulty I take the step to review this project.
Suddenly spread and loved by many, a label is behind this so we must trust them. Without the guest musicians I wouldn’t bother as too many fake bands are spreading like bread. A beautiful female voice, pounding drums and heavy guitars.
It captures attention to many in a second. Every songs apart from the last one, proves the band is composed of professional musicians. Well constructed songs, emotion, power, everything is here to get on top of the Heavy Metal music scene.
Have a listen:
As most today’s Metal bands, they love to blend styles and so people might categorize the band in the Symphonic Metal, Heavy Metal, Progressive Metal, Gothic, and many others stickers. Different languages, rhythm, vibes, growling voices, melodies, a universe that will gather tons of fans.
It is perfect, a big work behind the mixing table. Influences: Dragonforce, Delain, Children Of Bodom, Amaranthe, and many more.
False Messiah is breaking the boundaries. The album is somehow perfect, but the last track kills it all. A digital mix that has nothing to do with the rest which is a shame. Eight songs with a modern touch to blast your days.
This is not bringing anything new, yet this is what today’s music is about. Tons of visuals and a music to stand out: it is Metal 90/100.
