With her ability to melt your heart as to punch you right in your face, Janet will always be Janet!!! If the first album was a bit out of the ordinary , that second opus is keeping those digital samples but less Industrial than the first one. A first song right in your face with  Heavy Metal power that kind of set her apart from her previous famous band Vixen, (Although her vocal line reminds me Tangerine ‘ s third album..) she is keeping her straight to the point lyrics that was well started in her previous album.
The whole album is like a wave, inspired by the legendary bands. Going sometimes from Heavy tunes to melted ones that leaves the link to Vixen style but that is only her voice melodies that gives this impression, and as long time fan obviously it sticks to my mind (reminding some rev it up melodies). For those who criticized her before, they get a big slap in their head and will bang their head to this powerful lady.
Catchy guitar riffs, melodies , power ..this album has everything you need to enjoy your life and spend a good time. With the different mood of each song you may play it as it is or as random, it will always catch your ears with pleasure. Justin James guitar riffs are heavy and brings back memories .Influences sometimes reminding bands such as Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, Ratt, Dokken, Judas Priest, Poison, Vixen…even at the end the song “Without you” sounds like a pop cover ..

There is no doubt you will all love it and Janet Gardner has a long life with her own band. Her voice is just such a beautiful and enjoying melodies to dance to. The great catchy riffs are made to get those songs hit singles to air on every radios and online sites. Well written and composed this is a pearl to own in your collection.
Twelve songs rocking the hell out of your feet on fire. “Your Place In The Sun”, “Kick Me Back” , “Flame Thrower” , “Unconditionally”… You asked for more , Janet and Justing gave you enough to rock your world and spend awesome moments head banging!  An awesome team to stay for long and conquer the world in a minute.
