Juglans Jegia : “Memorie Dal Presente” CD 7th September 2019 Loud N’Proud Records. Italian Progressive Rock band.

Italy has many talents, here we have a young band that delivers some good rock with melodies. At first I thought it was an instrumental album but then I heard the singer. He sings in Italian in all the songs.

Driven by guitar solos and keyboards, it takes you right in the heart with those melodies. Although I can not understand the language, I can feel the mood through the music, the band wants to express some cool vibes. The cover artwork looks a bit like it has been cut through as the hand is closer to the left side of the design. The way they inverted one letter may get into the description of the music.

By searching the net ‘Juglians Jegia” gives you info about the trees that make oil. Also the ‘loud n prouds records’ is not to be confused by a label with that same name. This is underground at its best, yet the mix is pretty good and the sound that comes out from is really good. It is only four tracks, with a booklet with a band photo inside and the lyrics.

This is a pretty good and interesting min EP from Italy. You can hear the guitarist has learned from many guitarists such as Satriani, Gilmour and else. It reminds me a belgium band Obsidian 55 with less effects. It’s just simple rock with that progressive touch. Sometimes they are some strange bits here and there that sounds much like a noise that is sometimes done by a mass from a cable..

It transports you into pleasure and you just want to press play again!

I let you enjoy the last song :

Now if this made up your heart beating up, then buy this mini EP that brings a cool vibe. You can hear the musicians are skilled enough to release a beautiful piece of music. I have no doubt they will bring us a brilliant album in the near futur. Juglans Jegia has a big potential to hit the shores of the music planet. So give it a high welcome and get this now!!!

A nice band that needs a lot of exposure 98/100.
