Two musicians from different styles joined forces to create a special band: Chris Techritz (Scatterface, ex: = Fudge=, Carrier, Kerjer) and Franz. Herde (Sieges Even). The band started with the name Carrier and then changed to Kryptoportikus, which makes it much weirder.
The logo as the cover reminds the idea of Greek influences. There are even songs called “Medusa ‘s Speech” and “The Curse of Medusa”. One song is in three parts, making this album much more like a concept album. There is a story narrated by the singer.
If the music entertains you with the great heavy riffs and nice solos, the whole makes it like reading an audiobook.

Twelve Songs into the Universe of Greek Mythology is more than just a two-individual project. They are helped by friends such as Olivier Holzwarth (Sieges Even, Blind Guardian), Jimmy Konsta (We Are Legend), Marc Nickel (Bleeding), Spider the Arkonaut (Simeon Soul Charger), Tom Brenneis (Mynd), and Alex Kreuch (Art of Delusion, Violent Heart).
A huge team being this big project. For those who dig this kind of unusual sound, it is for you! For the others, they might see it as an experiment in the music world.
With good melodies and music, it is a nice time spent in Krytptoportikus ‘s world 90/100.
