Motorhead: “The Lost Tapes” Boxset CD and Double LP 23rd February 2024 BMG. UK heavy Metal band.

Every so often, when an artist dies there is always music to sell for the fans. In this case, we don’t talk about never heard songs or new ones never played. The story behind those songs is just an old job done by many artists for decades. Most of the time, they are called bootlegs and can be bought in some secret places and are collectibles by fans.

Those songs are just ones the band has recorded during live shows on cassette tapes. Most of the time bands do it for themselves, and are now used to keep Motorhead alive in the music scene crediting Lemmy.

To date, five concerts from these tape cassette documents of Motörhead’s ear-splitting live performances from across the decades have been released digitally, with volumes 1 to 4 also receiving limited edition vinyl editions. Now, due to overwhelming demand, the collection of volumes 1 to 5 is available as a CD box set collection, with the latest volume 5 also pressed on vinyl.

Five CDs and a double LP, with different live shows:

1: Live at Sala Aqualung, Madrid, 1st June 1995.

2: Live at University of East Anglia, Norwich, 18th October 1998.

3: Live at KB Hallen, Malmö, 17th November 2000.

4: Live at Sporthalle, Heilbronn, 29th December 1984.

5: Live at Download Festival, Donington, England, June 13, 2008 (Also releasing on double LP).

Check out the live review:

More than a bad bootleg, you get a beautiful item with an amazing sound straight from the original recording during live shows.

A must-have for real die-hard fans 100/100.
