Opprobrium : “Supernatural Death” CD 23rd August 2018 Brutal Records. Death Metal band. For those who were born in the eighties and saw the birth of Death Metal coming becoming strong in the early nineties know that band was first called Incubus. I followed this band from their first album to the third / first album with that new name. A friend of mine had the Lps which are hard to find. I must say it got me confused and so many have when a band called Incubus became the biz new sensation with their funky style and got pushed into the Metal world.

Yeah it was once again a dollar issue that forced the band to change their name and restart from scratch their career. Fortunately people like me managed to keep an eye / ear and supported them. I have reviewed the first Opprobrium album and the guys had the line up issue that did not help.

The two first Incubus albums have been reissued and you can find them and hear earlier materials on utube. the good thing about this band is they were born in the eighties Thrash Metal scene that what made them very big in the scene quickly.

Here we are and the band is reissuing their music in one hell of big package for the fan of true Death Metal. More than thirty years later letting a trace in the music history.

Have a listen:

A digipack album to own with lyrics in the booklet and photos for the pleasure of the metal heads who like the precious piece of collection. The best way to own also their previous songs if you haven’t got the earliest albums. Crunchy Thrash Metal riffs with a voice that started the Death Metal age.
