Ross The Boss : “By Blood Sworn” CD 20th April 2018 AFM Records. USA Heavy Metal band. Wow my summer is getting hot! This album came out few months ago and I received it today by mail. I ‘m so happy to listen and review this album. The single I heard and shared was a blast so I wanted to hear more and I am not disappointed.
Ross Friedman is back with a bomb that explode your head like it used to back in the days when Manowar kicked our butt! First you have to admit it is one of the best album cover that exist in Heavy Metal and far more better than the last Judas Priest one. Powerful as the music that fulfill the disc. A pure pleasure for the ears and bringing back the flame that has kind of get wet those last decades.
You want power, you want melodies, you want one of the best album to own, well don’t look further this is the one to own! Surrounded by awesome musicians Mike Lepond on bass, Lance Barnewold on drums, Marc Lopez on the vocals who is breath taking such he has that power and awesome killing abilities.
The first three songs are mind blowing reminding a mix of Manowar hits that is just starting your day with power and full energy. The best to get awake before getting to your job. The third song “This is Vengeance” reminds easily “Kings of Metal” songs . The first song “By Blood Sworn” the album title is such a hymn to Heavy Metal with such an energy and melodies powered to explode your blood pressure to the top you will become a superhero .
The second song has a solo intro in the vein of ZZ Top mixed Judas Priest kind that rocks and you can attend the crowd to head bang like mad during live shows. Every song has that thing to make hits and great songs to be loved by the masses.

The sixth song “Devil’s Day” is so awesome and killing it like every songs on this masterpiece you will play it for long. Ten great songs with powerful vocals and rocking sound we used to have in the Metal world. Ross made one of the best album for the year 2018 and the band Ross The Boss is a machine that will live for long to keep the Metal blood boiling and this what makes those musicians extraordinary.
Every bands he is in are brilliant music arts pieces, mind blowing; Bow to the mighty guitarist and his fellow friends. Reminding “Blow your Speakers”, this is what this album does to me. A big kick in the music world buy it now and be sure to own all the parts of it , i’m speechless 100/100.
