Spread out internationally with a video on MTV and a compilation VHS magazine tape. A band that got a lot of fame with their melted tunes getting them hard to pigeonhole one music genre. Yet the closest back then was Thrash Metal. This new album has much of a progressive touch and a space-like vibe. 

Signed by a nineties label that first was more into Hard Core type of music, have now got recognition for getting many bands into many Metal styles. An experiment with crazy graphics, setting the scene into a mystical spacely wild feeling. For sure Voivod is unique! If aliens exist, well then they are. For many people, this band is kind of special and they have all great riffs and inspiration for many bands which came later.

Combining many influences from different music styles; they are talking to everybody. There are no boundaries in music. Robot life creates the imagination of another world in your mind by listening to and watching the cover artwork. Voivod is special and it feels good, you just play their music and get as crazy as any other band.  The machine leads the way, still kicking as live with musician guests such as Jason Newsted and a bunch of great musicians composing those amazing tunes.
