Wild Fire: “In Between” Digital and CD 2022 Self Released. USA Country / Pop / R’nB band.
Texas sisters who have been composing songs for years, have once again advertised for their album on social media. As I bought their first album that was promising in the Country music style. I thought why not checking their music again and ordered their (last) album.
Ok some will tell this is a three years old album, well with all the albums I receive everyday and don’t have time to review. When I buy a CD I review it. Sometimes it is a very good one sometimes I’m disappointed.
Those young girls live their years, utube etc. They used to update everyday’s videos but only young people of their age must follow them. As time goes very fast these days in the music world. It’s very hard to get away from the modern music unless you don’t like it. Wild Fire are young girls, they live their youth and so times with music aren’t the best today.
Since those kids don’t buy albums anylonger, thx digital platforms such as Spotify and such… This album is not one to me. The first song is a Popish sugar teenage one, reminding me the MTV nineties ones with bands such as Offsrpring, Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Green Day, and so on.
Check it out:
The problem here, is each song is more like trying to fit and get the most kids to love the band. One song is in the R&b style with beats and compressed music you don’t even notice there is music made. They have one acapella song, sounding like they took the music off, which is good to show their singing skills. Duet with Highland Sanctuary who is the modern rock/country singer. Another duet with Honey County which is typically today’s music with beats on top of a singer…
It will please the new generation for sure, but I find it sad today country music is melting with the modern sound to fit the new music that has no life and just sound like everything they do today. Ten songs like a platform’s playlist.
No matter which direction they take, I wish them good luck.
For the fans of the new radio stations 60/100.
