Greystone Canyon : “While The Wheels Still Turn” CD & Digital March 2018 Rockshots Records / Hellfire Records. Australia Heavy Metal band. Four individuals who decided to revive the great nineties of what made those great bands to blow the world with albums that will stay forever untouched.

The album is released by two labels one for Europe and the states the other for Australia where the band is from. I listened the album few times and it’s hard to really give the impression as they are full of influences and the album has nine tracks but in fact it’s less due to intros giving a special mood to the album. The first tracks send you in Hard Heavy tunes and gets mellow to the end. They have those blues and rock riffs you find in most of the bands with melodies mostly in the voice to capture your senses.

Influences ranging from : Area 54, Honey For Christ, Tesla, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Skid Row, Slaughter, Love and hate, Kiss… Classical guitar intro brilliantly  played. Lots of emotional feel blending into easy listening ,  will get lots of love from the women part.

The idea of the western is a good one and with the music is kind of bringing back to the music roots with lots of elements from rock, blues, heavy… good musicians I hope will get more albums coming and won’t fall into the abyss. So give it a go , listen and get addicted :

Darren Cherry the singer states “it’s music from art an soul” and you really feel it! Rich Vella the guitarist has amazing playing and blow you away , it’s just a great bunch of good musicians packed to give us the best a band can give. The hard work given to make the perfect album has paid! They deserve big exposure and lots of fans .

As usual I advice to buy the CD but for those who prefer digital it’s on all platforms. Get blown now 99/100.
