Age of Fire: “From the Forge” Digital and CD 13th September 2024 Self Released. USA Thrash Metal band.
Greg Brown is a brilliant guitarist, he took over the vocals a few years ago. After certainly being pissed off searching for the best singer. Neither less, his voice is perfect for his chosen music style. It differs from the beginning.
He has released acoustic classical music albums as a music lover, so it is never easy to have another project in a different music style. He tried to include each style in one album. The Metal crowd is a complex public. It is something I have a hard time understanding. Music has evolved with Classical music melted with Metal some call Symphonic Metal, yet people will argue they don’t like Classical music?! It’s like saying you like harp but not piano. It’s a two-string instrument.
You may have a hint in his answers in the new issue of The Metal Mag. As a huge supporting individual of my work, I’m always here to spread great music. So it’s natural he appears in many issues of the magazine and I’m grateful for that. Composing heavy riffs and singing while creating outstanding solos, he has a full lineup to help him out. I urge you to see them live.

An explosive cover album, reminding the hard to build what is important to us. Music-wise, it’s heavy reminding the old Thrash Metal with that pounding loud rhythm.
Influences Vio-lence, Demolition Hammer, Sepultura, Metallica, Overkill, and many more.
Ten tracks with diverse emotions and feelings. Classical guitar is instrumental, among great solos and keeping the roots of the style. The originality of Age of Fire is the diversity Greg brings with all his musical influences. A brilliant work you can appreciate with time listening to each part.
Well-constructed songs, plunge into Greg Brown‘s universe 98/100.
