Ashes Arise : “Résurgence From Oblivion” Digital album 10th February 2018 Self Release. French USA Death / Thrash / Heavy / Classical / Symphonic…Metal band. Here comes an original band that needs big exposure for their awesome artistic work. Three ladies managed to get in touch via new technology allowing to cross borders and countries to create a brilliant album.

Stephanie Nolf   Bassist singer (Unsafe, Ashes Arise) french musicians is bringing this formation into the Death Metal style with her sharky voice reminding Chuck Shuldiner having a strong presence driving the power of that band.

Amy Zion the main guitarist is bringing some heavy and loud riffs with melodies and inverted chords sometimes reminding those modern Swedish Metal bands such as Opeth…

Emily Moss is the melodic voice bringing some beauty to the extreme giving the music a nice feel. Reminding sometimes Doro and Genevieve Rodda having that Heavy Metal touch.

Make up your mind with this video :

The music has influences from diverse music styles,  the song “Tornado Of Devastation” has a classical music intro and one of the best song due to all different influences creating the band’s  style on its own. Some songs have that synthesizer atmosphere used a lot those days by Symphonic bands and reminding the early Dimmu Borgir albums. Yet staying just as that classical element to drive the feel and emotions from the songs. Ten tracks with a Heavy driving force leading the whole album captivating and addicting to the masses. Creating compositions with so many influences from the eighties and nineties as today making this band a must to follow and worship. They have the right tunes to get the most fans in the world who will enjoy the diversity of those influences.  Death, Pestilence, Temtris, Doro,Mekong Delta, Pantera, Metallica.. the list is so long I could go forever , you will get your idols printed in Ashes Arise to make you love this band.

So what you have here ? A three-piece woman band that have all it takes to get a band going, from the compositions to the cover art , like three witches they will swallow your soul and get you bow on your knees with their enchanting music.

The cover painting would be nice to get as a Digipack version but due to the fact musicians are spread out it is for now on as a digital download.

Get this masterpiece on their bandcamp page  it’s definitively a one to own and due to all the work done it’s a cheap price 100/100.
