Axminster : “Tightrope” CD & Digital 21st March 2022 self Release. USA Rock / Hard Rock Band.

If the UK had the NWOBHM, the states got bands such as Axminster! A taint of the seventies bathed in the eighties touch. Like most bands who made a big career back in the days, they released a new EP to simply keep us hooked with rocking tunes as they know how to do it.

This new EP is a mix of great riffs reminding those great decades of music hits. After all, musicians still play no matter what life brings. It’s with pleasure you will listen to this six songs EP.

From the start they have an amazing logo, then the cover is very simple yet powerful. That hand hanging tight to the music scene to show you they are still here. A band that deserves to be spread as one of the biggest bands, even if some may not know them yet, their music will kick your ear bringing you memories.

Axminster rocks the music like a glove, hitting your heart away in a minute. After a long hiatus, the band came back in 2001! Recorded an amazing Heavy Metal album that blasted the souls for more tunes to remember.

Have a refresh :

Influences from Alice Cooper, The Runaways, Mama’s boys, Status Quo, T-Rex, Thin Lizzy, Aerosmith, Montrose, Sweet, Deep Purple

You got a bomb to blast in your headphones or your computer. While it is not original, and what it is today,…those six songs get you moving!  It is tight as those rockers who have the music in their veins. It’s pure Rock ‘n Roll to the bones.

Once you hit the play button, it gets straight into your senses remembering what music was/is. Tightrope is for sure the best-melted seventies – eighties recipe you will eat!

A perfect Ep to listen to without stopping 99/100.
