Six years after their last effort, the band is back with a bomb. The excellent cover artwork gives you a hint of what to expect inside. Kicking the scene since ’92, Downright Malice has learned the rules and recipes to bring us an awesome album to dance to. Mixing Metal styles to blend melodies and riffs you will get in your head for a long. The band created some amazing tunes to please the world.
Entertaining, you are invited in the wagon of speed and heaviness. It is loud and powerful, you can’t stop listening and quit. You press play and get bewitched by the enrollment that will let you slave to the grind. Bow down to the mighty Downright Malice. A French band that deserves a lot of recognition, hard work seems to be on their side. While the band is self-promoted; it has the potential, sound, and image of a signed band!

influences from Massacre, Angel Dust, Sepultura, Testament, Dark Funeral, Heathen… They toured with the best, played numerous live shows, and will again in near future. Their evolution is interesting but doesn’t choke as it melts nicely. Whatever you like or not those growling voices, the melodies and catchy riffs from Heavy to Thrash will get you to love them. If you never heard of them it is time to get their previous efforts.Â
Downright Malice is here to stay and to kick your life with good vibes. An album that will mark the world, don’t understand this band is not signed yet. Ten tracks with emotions and power, some keyboards here and there to gently pass the tempos that shred your heart. A taint of rock sometimes, the changes of styles matches each as it is the normal music evolution.Â
A strong start that kicks the machine that takes you down to another dimension. A must-have, a masterpiece of the year 100/100.
