Pale Wizard Records brings you an exciting lineup featuring some of the most renowned bands in the underground scene, today paying homage to ‘Killer’ in their own contemporary styles.
The original album that came out on the 27th November 1971 is getting a revival with several iconic Metal, Doom, Rock bands of today’s scene. The album is like a new edition with a new sound and sometimes giving you influences from other seventies bands. Some bands have decided to play the song with their own style giving a twist of the original songs to get them a brand new vibe.
For people who know the album, the first songs will get them straight into emotions as the bands are playing close to the songs even giving another twist, such as sending you back in the seventies reminding T-rex for example. While other bands have recreated the songs that may sound ‘new ‘ or unknown from the listener when it is actually the style of the band that plays it.
The lyrics haven’t been changed and you will hear the chorus of a few sentences that have been ringing in your ears since the seventies. Alice is still alive and well-performing like he always did. Label founders who came across Alice’s albums realized the opportunity was given to them to mark 50 years of this album. They so talked to a few bands about the idea of recreating this complete album with a different vibe to give it a new touch.
