Odyssey : “The Swarn” CD & Digital 24th May 2019 Self Released. USA Instrumental / Thrash / Progressive / Heavy Metal / Death Metal band.

Started back in 2007, the band has been releasing several albums . Very unusual , it is only instrumental and gets some special feel as they are mixing several music styles in one. Unlike shredders, it is a complete band showing their skills and just creating some amazing tunes everyone can enjoy.

A journey filled up with imaginary , from peaceful time to pounding ones. An album that reached to your senses and drive you emotions to the top leaving a trace in your mind. Explosive cover artwork to blow your mind to the unknown. For those who are familiar with instrumental shredders album, this is completely different.

Imagine a full band playing instrumental , like a demo without a singer except those are real albums! Odyssey has revolutionized the music even if it is not the first time a band does that. Very technical with each instruments, it is a combination of several music styles mixed up together proving music has no boundaries at all.

Check this out :

It can unsettle some listeners who are not used to hear such technics. It will please all progressive as jazz fans for sure. Eleven songs to blow your mind away. A beautiful journey that should get Odyssey a big place in the music world. Those kind of musicians are often set apart from the usual box style we all know.

It is pretty hard to categorize such a band as you can see the title I gave them. Influences ranging from Mekong Delta, Marty Friedman, Dio, Fear Factory, Dream Theatre, Rush.. You will all hear your favorite riffs and likes throughout this album.

Step out from the usual path, take a turn and plunge into the musician universe that is Odyssey. Support them by going to their bandcamp and buy the CDs , you won’t regret it and spread the word 97/100.
