Johnny Ray: “Free My Soul” Digital and CD 22nd September 2026 Self Released. USA Heavy Metal vocalist.
Vocalist and keyboardist for progressive metal band The Mourning, and vocalist for 3 Headed Snake. Has just released his solo album. While the cover art shows a woman looking at herself in the mirror, the video shows many people who are conflicted with those thoughts.
With a melodic approach and a great feeling that sticks to your heart, Johnny Ray is stinging right where it touches most of the people. A country music intro going through a heavy powerful rhythm that lands into a great song.
A great cover artwork and logo, captivating the audience to listen up and get hooked in a second. A great guitar solo, making this a hit single. I wish the full album will keep that vibe.

Influences: Lita Ford, Aerosmith, Twisted Sister, Gus G, Halestorm, Edge of Paradise, and many more.
Johnny Ray’s vocal melodies take you to another world. A song you play several times.
Just brilliant 100/100.
