When starting playing the album you are pleased to hear Thrash riffs, reminding some cool eighties bands. Then the voice comes and this is changing the idea you just got, at first it just sounds like screams and you start to wonder if they are lyrics.
The new breed as we called it back in mid nineties and new kids, will probably love it. A mix of Thrash and pounding riffs to get the crowd moving along. Not my cup of tea, most screams but a good heavy powerful music. Some passages reminding old Death Metal, giving a twist of the songs and the vibe of the album.
When you check the booklet you can read and dig the message the band is trying to pass through this anger. I personally love the songs with clean vocals, the voice and effects aren’t the same for everyone. It’s really hard to tell but for sure many people from diverse style will love it.
After few albums , they have set their fan base. A good exposure and feedback from the public to gather lots of fans. No surprise the label got them on board!
Check that song :
Clean vocals and pounding tunes, the recipe for great moshing. Cover artwork still very underground, with an edge of extreme vision. A very straight and strong logo to set the music into the metal world.
Influences from Five Fingers Death Punch, Metallica, Pantera, Nucleasr Assault, Carcass.. You must dig this album to buy it. If you liked the nineties you will love Unforged!
A band that will kick the scene so be prepared to see them everywhere , a good album 90/100.
