Eranës : “After The Rain” Digital single 6 October 2022 Dr. Music Records. Electro / Rock / Metal band.

The Swiss vocalist Stephan Lipp (ex-Second Reign) kicked off his solo project at the beginning of the year to create extraordinary sound cosmos with top-class guest musicians. I got attracted by the fact that Margarita Monet (Edge Of Paradiseis singing this song. The fact she is in a single with a painting cover artwork makes sense.

The other guest is Derek Sherinian on the keyboard (Dream Theater, Joe Bonamassa, Whitesnake). The Members are drummer Alain Ackermann (Eluveitie) and guitarist Simon Burri (Rage Of Light, Vorax, Sinverse). Producer Mack Schildknecht (China, The Three Sum, Fueled By Grace) also played bass. Chris Beyerlein from Stem Masters (Schandmaul, Fiddler’s Green, Stahlmann) mastered the finished result.

I was amazed to hear the intro’s very digital sound with techno bits. The music evolves then towards a much-rock vibe with Margarita‘s beautiful voice that always gets me deep in love. She transcends everything with her siren melodies.

So while I am not keen on the intro, I love the part that melts into much enjoyable music to my ears. But wait, this song has two versions! The one that most talks about cos Margarita is such a fantastic singer that she kills it all. The other one is mainly Stephan‘s song, which he kept for us to hear so we can appreciate his creation. Needless to say, it is a good song.

Have a taste :

The videos are as artistic as the whole concept. It somehow gets into your mind and you start to love it after a few listen. It becomes addictive with the melodies and emotions you feel, the videos also help diging it much more.

It’s a pretty good start and I can’t wait to hear more songs from this project full of great musicians.

A beautiful piece of art 98/100.
