The fame of this band is due to one individual, Amy Lee! The black hair girl with blue eyes captures the attention of millions, but what makes her unique is her voice! The first time I heard this song ‘My Immortal’ on the radio (when radios were playing good tunes..) made me fall in love with Evanescence!
It was their first album for the world who never heard of this band before. This was also the years of music trying to find a way out of the usual sound and music styles stuck into boxes. I must say I didn’t like the fact media put them into the Metal one.
The video, the text, Amy‘s emotions in her voice get you into your blood and feel. Many have for any reason, relied onto those lyrics; pretty much what sums up what this band is and was about. Bringing to life the deep feel the human being has lost.

The six album is the accomplishment of a girl who had dreams and fought to get them out to the world. No matter what she has endured, the lady is still kicking with new blood and great songs to move us all.
The music business is a tough one, we can give credit to this lady and her creative emotion as the voice that speaks to us all. Amy Lee is an amazing woman, and Evanescence is here to stay. Strength and passion is driving her to give the most.
This new album is like a blend of the first two albums to me. Melodies, messages, samples, atmospheres. It gets it all and we have a brand new Evanescence album to kick your days with pleasure.
