Hellfox: “The Spectrum of Human Gravity” CD 6th June 2025 Rockshot Records. Italian Melodic Gothic / New Wave / Folk / Death Metal band.

New album from this all female italian band. The sound is much better than the previous one, while I still don’t like the growling voice, I appreciate a little more than before. I always have difficulties with a band that has beautiful voice and melodic music.

I’m not from this generation that loves to have a growling voice to join the ranks of today’s Metal bands. I too had those demands when I was singing, but this wasn’t my stuff nor the music I intended to play. Neither less to say.

It is a very good album and will be praised by the masses who loves those mixes. A dark cover artwork with a center design reminding me one I made in mid nineties. I guess we all have the same creative ideas at some point. The artistic way may think of a demo, but we are so used today of extra made computer designs flashing to the eyes. I appreciate it bleeds the temper of the lyrics so there is no surprise when listening to the music.

Hellfox have made a good choice and the cover represents pretty well the content of the album. Check it out:

Influences: Drakonian, Paradise Lost, Dust in Mind, Death, Chaos Rising, Amorphis, In Flames , Dark Tranquillity, and many more.

Their music is a  blend of diverse music styles, giving their identity as a band. Take off the growling voice and it could sometimes set into the pop, new  / dark wave one. You will hear many influences from the eighties and the nineties. A great acoustics intro with a beautiful video, deep dark emotions and feelings.

Nine songs of pure beauty in a journey that will leads to despair with pleasure. For the fans of the genre, with an open mind.

Dive into the beauty of Hellfox’s  universe 98/100.
