Judas Priest : ” Firepower ” Digipack CD & CD & LP 9th March 2018 Sony. UK Heavy Metal band. NO need to introduce you one of the best Heavy Metal band in the music history. Despite the awful cover artwork that got me wondering for a while what that could be. Digital helps doing things but apart from the color that blows your eyes it’s not one of their best cover in their career. Every one will have their opinions for sure , but it could be better.
Once you passed that point the important thing is the content : the music! And I can say it is a strong power that kicks your butt from the first song. The priest gives us here a masterpiece they know the secret they have been forging from their first album. The good point is it will get everyone happy , most of the tracks remind a piece of Judas Priest history from “Hell bent for Leather” , “Point of Entry” , “Turbo” , “Painkiller”… the whole collection is here! This is one band that never disappoints nor change their style. If some musicians have parted ways and gave the band some different direction the roots are here.
Rob Halford is still a heavy vocalist kicker, kick ass riffs and pounding drums , this is one of the album that will be voted the best release for 2018 by many . Bringing the whole package with colored LPs and CDs this is total late christmas but right for the money. Buy those exclusives right from the band’s website.

The addition of Richie Faulkner just brings some heavy guitars and awesome solos and gives credit to KK downing. Fourteen songs to please your day full of joy and happiness. They are here to kick your ass like always , the amazing band Glenn Tipton , bassist Ian Hill, and drummer Scott Travis have released a masterpiece as great musicians as they are. This is Judas Priest the one and the only so get your fix now 100/100.
Rob Halford has not lost his Heavy Metal agility that is for sure. The band brings back memories, but yet, gives you something new to look forward to, as if they never left. He is the God of Metal in my book. I cannot think of anyone that back in the day, did not head bang to “Breaking the law”. Now I will be head banging to “Lighting Strikes” Great review The Metal Mag \../
