Nachtfaller: “Still(leben)” CD and Digital 06th November 2026 Echozone. German Dark Rock / Gothic / Indus band.
Third album from this German band who sings in his mother tongue language. As I don’t understand this language it is always hard for me to capture the message. The music is a blend of several musical styles while keeping the root of dark gothic atmosphere.
Dark cover artwork, a representation statue of a woman may show sadness. The title is very dark too like almost hidden. Starting in the vein of first Dimmu Borgir style with piano and singing like speaking slowly.
If the starts gets into a depressing mood, each song has an elevation to a better vibe with sometimes a bit of punk to get you shake your butt and dance during live shows.

Influences: Dimmu Borgir, Rammstein, Danzing, Depeche Mode, Within Temptation, and many more.
I’ve been always intrigued by Gothic bands, the music generally gives me the creeps and can get you down if you are very sad. Thankfully Nachtfaller is not just making an album that stays on the same line from start to end. Some songs may please people that may not get to the other ones.
Having that digital industrial sound, lots of keyboards sound from piano to electronic ones. Gets you lots of passages from diverse bands making this album an easier way to capture a wilder audience.
Nachtfaller send me back in the eighties and late nineties where bands had those dark vibes.
An album for those who can appreciate these styles and love German language.
Eight songs passing through emotions and feelings, not for everyone yet with an edge of mainstream feel.
