The man needs no introduction, yet we aren’t used to have him as solo artist. This new album coming is like any shredder one. The solo album will be released this autumn. He is having guests to get this album a must have in the Metal world.
Solo guitar from Jeff Loomis on one track of the album, Johan Niemann on bass and Jon Skäre on drums. This album will be a magical blend of professional musicians. Ola Englund, is bringing us a masterpiece that will leave a trace in the music history.
The first time I listened to the track, I thought Joe Satriani was on board! Yet I was wrong, after another listen I thought about Nili Brosh, yet another mistake. Those player seem to have inspired the solo on this song. Power riffs for the rythm, down tunes guitars, heavy distortion. Melodies to drive you through a nice passage spreading the idea of shredder instrumental albums.

A brilliant cover artwork with great design, for sure Ola Englund worked hard to give us a visual to mark his first album to stick to memory. We can’t wait to hear the full album that will sell like bread.
Nothing original, a great song with great sound. It’s sad that the solo really reminds me my favorite artists, but in the overall it’s a great track.
Everyone will love it, 90/100.
