Summer 2024 sees a lot of books coming out. Music is being so overwhelmed and hard to sell for bands. The good thing is everything is coming back from the great past. The eighties! People who never lived those great years to the die-hard fans who grew up in that time.

There is something for everyone, today we have another great book filled with photos. Like fans who don’t think of all the technicians responsible for stages and live events, they are those hard-working people taking photos to keep track of the past.

“In July 2022, Bay Area musician and photographer Steve Roney,

opened up his personal collection of never-seen-before rock concert photos of the 80s.”

We all see the same photos in every magazine and online site. Gifted photographer, Steve Roney, decided it was time to get his work out of the never-before-seen footage. Plenty of great live photos, documents, and statements. A journey into the life of a man who saw straight in his eye capturing the moment of a live show from the front stage.

Talking about his experience and how he became the professional we all know today. A passion that led him to give us the best photos of the early Rock and Metal eighties shows.

Artists Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T, Gamma, Def Leppard,  Blackfoot, ACDC, Black Sabbath, UFO, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Kiss, DIO, Uria Heep,  Queensryche, Rainbow, MSG, Ted Nugent, Saxon, Accept, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Sammy Hagar, Heart, David Lee Roth.
