While the band had some great responses worldwide, they decided to repress their first effort; the pandemic had its effect and the lineup changed bringing new blood like a return to the roots. Hence the first album may be new to many and a great comeback to the other ones.

Released in 2018, not that old, and had that crunchy sound with guitar attack and vocal melodies that catches us all in a second. The six-track EP is a well-written one, professional sounding like an eighties band with years of experience.

Based in LA the singer has Indonesian roots, and so made it an original band when they came out. They chose the right place to get the fan base and recognition. This gives them an image of an old band… Yeah for sure their music reminds the good old years with awesome riffs.

The simple yet interesting cover artwork brings a special touch to attract the eye. An old look-alike Lp cover that survived years. For sure a young band that gives that old image may be a good commercial issue to gather fans. Their band logo is also very interesting.

All those elements bring originality we are not used to anymore. Digging the lyrics, and appreciating those great songs.

Reog is an enigma, but that mystery is a good point for a good band to explode the Metal scene. An album that will live through the years with flawless loss. A brilliant album, so check the other ones and follow this band that deserve it.

Influences Kings X, Area 54, Tygers of Pan Tang, Thin Lizzy, Diamond Head, Vooodoo X…And you will hear many more.

A great album to own as an Heavy Metal maniac.

Buy it 98/100.
