Syrence : ‘Freedom In Fire’ Digipack CD 8th February 2019 Fastball Records. Germany Hard Rock / Heavy Metal band. For their first album I must say it is a very good surprise. Going back to the early days of Judas Priest with a singer Johnny Vox who looks and sound like the young Rob Halford.
They are creating smooth and rocking tunes such as the early Scorpions or Accept albums. The anger to rock you along twelve songs. One is called ‘addicted’ and this what will happen when you will hear this masterpiece. I never thought I would be amazed by a young band who got this ability to play and create the great tunes with listened to in the early eighties.
A fine production actively supported by Achim Köhler (mix & mastering / Dragonforce, Hammerfall) and Ralf Scheepers (vocal recording / Primal Fear) help the band having a high top level to sell for the first release. They are really good and their own music is enough to support and spread this group to the high top of the charts.
Great solos and good riffs with amazing vocals give us a brilliant album to play loud. They are undoubtably joining the forces of icons of Heavy Metal. Keep following them as I am sure they will go very far. Songs such as ‘Freedom in Fire’ (album title) starts with high kick in the butt to end up song ‘Seven Oaks’ with melody and lots of feeling . ‘Evil Force’ is a strong and powerful song. Each Syrence songs have a special touch that makes this album a masterpiece to own 100/100.
