Isolated-Antagonist : “Affirmation of Entropy” CD 2016 BluntFace Records. USA Ambient / Death Metal / Industrial band. I have plenty of albums into different hard drive. I found this one and listened up to make up my mind as I don’t recall what it sounds like. A band with two person, a singer Glen Mitchell and a guitarist Nate Exx Gradowski who also plays many effects and else.

So all came from inspiration of sci-fy kinda story that sets a complete world for the band. In that we can say there is on originality that drowns them apart from the massive bands around the globe. They are using the digital age to the maximum and show what today is possible to do with nearly nothing.

The cover artwork is like out of an horror movie that shows what life will become one day on the planet. The band’s name with no particular logo but just a tiny piece of technical information setting you into the world of Isolated-Antagonist.

Nothing more than fifteen tracks sending you into another world, sounds and atmosphere shredding your mind apart. Some song are soft some are agressive. It feels like you are reading a book and imagining the movie. Musically it brings you back to the first Fear Factory album which was back then out of time and so much advanced compared to what was done before.

“Affirmation of Entropy” is now accomplished with this new digital age as a whole except there is no ‘band’ as it is normally done. Which means only two individuals creating this amazing art.

have a listen :

The band is still working on creating other pieces of art. They are now on every digital platforms,  so don’t tell you haven’t got a reason to check them out. Agressive vocals and punching heavy guitars with samples kicking your butt. This is just a powerful album to hear and own 98/100.
