The End Of Melancholy: “Nature Unleashed” CD 28th May 2021 Self Released. Russian Goth / Alternative / Death Metal band.
Arrived on the Metal scene with a single that ripped the world like a storm. A mix of Goth and Metal explosion with melodies, the video went viral around the net. We all fell in love with that energy and power with strong feelings.
It’s with surprise I realised I have interviewed Olly Lex and haven’t reviewed this awesome album yet. In my way to support Russian bands in those hard times, I thought it would be the right time to erase my mistake. So listening to this album in a loop.
Heavy riffs with tons of moods in the music as in the voice, will shred you to good tears. Relating to the lyrics, you’ll dive in with love.
Keeping their style from the first songs, with the edge of Goth rhythms, and Metal explosion mixing anger and love. Yet the melody is taking you deep into your thoughts and is the reason why The End Of Melancholy is so much loved. They played live shows in Europe and have quite a reputation.
You can help the band in those hard times by buying the album or simply sending them so financial help.

The Led Zepplin cover may sound a bit out of the ordinary from the rest of the music, but it shows how good they are as musicians. Olly’s melodic voice rings so well that this version is pretty well done. The song “monster’s feeling” bring back the melodic sound from that amazing single that blew the world.
Influence from Architect, Decadence, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth, Evanescence, Astrayvalley… The album ends with a beautiful piano ballad. Powerful cover art with Olly‘s face in a dark way as the band is, with her half face on the other side of the carton box.
Produced by Andrew Petrøff
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Alex Korshun

A must-have dark masterpiece to light up your heart full of love 100/100.
