Through the Oculus : “Self Titled” Digital 13th February 2021. USA modern Heavy / Thrash / Death Metal band. 

Is it still possible to create an amazing band today? The answer is yes, whatever all the tunes that have been created. There is always a band that leaves a trace into people’s mind. I must say I am the first to be stunt by few artists. In the case of Through The Oculus, what has gotten me addicted is the heaviness mixed with melodies and feelings. 

I have been touched deeply by the amazing Sarah Gamblin ‘s voice. She has bewitched my soul, like the sirens got Ulysse falling into the deep. Such emotional melodies , it rips . You can touch her feelings going through your heart. This is one reason why they are still bands out-here that can capture people’s love.

The cover artwork is like volcans lave flow ready to get out. A heart beating of anger , a passionate strong feeling burning you deep down to scar your brain. The light out of the darkness. Those vocal melodies keeping you addicted. Catchy heavy riffs and pounding drums exploding senses to the top. Lauren Weatherford is what we call a “true” bass player. First she plays with her fingers , secondly we hear the strings hitting hard giving the songs an impact that has been lost during the decades of music.

Randy Blount blasting guitar riffs and the reason of this band, has managed to create a band to remember. Eric the drummer is an amazing musician. They are tight ones, precise, heavy , constructed just powerful.

Starting with heavy pouding Death Metal tunes with few growls. For what the public has been saying so far. Through The Oculus has gained much love from every places they played in. Their energy and mix of great tunes and styles with the tightness of professionals , got them on top of the scene.

A real Metal band with influences from Rock to Heavy Metal touches,  giving hope in music .I’m addicted, intense band ready to explode.
