The band is back with a new masterpiece after this long and crazy pandemic. The world in its overall got much damage, and it’s also a sad year for musicians’ loss. Former Member Donny Hiller passed away in 2020, kind of leaving the band in a tragic situation. The band that revealed talented members such as Cliff Burton, lately got Greg Christian who joined the wagon. 

Releasing excellent albums but always as a ghost from the scene that started it all in the Thrash scene back in the early eighties, Trauma always been a strong formation. With difficulties to stay on the scene, they came back stronger in 2014 to spread out kick-ass albums to give credit to this hard-working band.

They found Brian Allen to take on the vocal position and get this new album a release for 2022. Darker and heavier, “awakening” keeps its roots in its sound yet has a modern Thrash sound that fits today’s classics. We probably can thank Brian for this, as his voice that sometimes remembers Exodus, Testament, Helstar… vocalists!

The early fans will love it as the modern ones. A great Thrash Metal album that will get a heavy welcome. Pounding riffs, guitar duet kicking .. for sure this is an album to get and support. Stronger than ever, Trauma is a powerhouse for Thrash music.

As a twist of fate, Greg Christian decided to leave after the album was recorded, and the band had to find a replacement to go on tour as soon as possible. With their fame, it was an easy task and many had the chance to see them live. You can read it all in The Metal Mag.
