Wardress : “Dress For War” CD 4th October 2019 Fastball Records. Germany Heavy Metal band. Early eighties formations haven’t all made it to the top. Some disappeared, some reappeared decades later, this is the story of a German band who recorded demos and disbanded before getting on the line with other bands for stardom.

It is amazing that after so many years of destruction and distortions trying to get Metal another face and sound, the eighties are back hitting hard the doors to our hearts. It for sure pleasing lots of Metal Heads like myself who grew up with those awesome sounds that always ring in our head and get our love forever.

Heavy Metal is strong and has always been, Wardress is here to tell us it is never over! This is why everyone should think about releasing their old tunes whenever the music has changed and the public too. Heavy Metal is here to stay! Feeling like it was yesterday, this band brings us an amazing album that sounds right from the past and straight from today’s sound.

Started in 1984 and disappeared in the dust of time to reunite in 2018! That is a long way but they succeeded into completion of awesome tunes to kick the world. Like playing an old record, this album is just pure Metal to ring in your ears for years.

Influences ranging from early Iron Maiden, with that punky edge.. Judas Priest, Omen, Manowar, Savatage, Saxon, Overlord SR…. They are among the biggest and it feels good. Every Metal Heads should own this album! It doesn’t exist as LP but this CD is one of a kind. Get it when released , this is pure Heavy Metal 98/100.
