Wolfshead : “Leaden” CD 27 October 2017 Rockshots Records . Finland Heavy Metal / Doom Metal band. Six years ago few guys met and created this original groovy band with nice tunes. This album is perfect , they regroup many influences and make it somehow original in a way. Whatever the Metal style you like you will love this band! A beautiful painting album cover from the ancient time. Something tells me those guys have been in the music for a while.
While listening to the songs you are travelling through time in Music. Influences ranging from Thing Lizzy, Â Motorhead, Monster Magnet, Black Sabbath…the most amazing is the singer has that Rob Flynn ‘s voice reminding those Machine Head covers on their first albums. It’s groovy and living that make you want to headbang and play it again and again.
Kind of fresh band with not so new music but it sounds good. It’s difficult to explain each part like you should dissect every bits while it’s just a cool band doing great songs to dance to. On the seventh song they even have some flute reminding some 70’s bands.. Here are eight tracks bringing back the old demons with a mixture of musical ages influences.
It rocks and you will love it live if you have the chance to see them performing in your city. Give it a try it’s worth it 96/100.
