Xavier Boscher :”Embryogenesis” Digipack CD & Digital 24th November 2017 self release. French Pop / Rock / Progressive / Jazz  guitarist virtuoso. It’s not easy to describe an album like this, first the “prog” style is not much my stuff but it helps people get the music somehow a place. It’s mainly a musical experience that sends you into a dream world of the artist. The cover pretty stands for it. It’s beautiful , it’s magical, it’s speechless. How a musician gets a maturity with all tastes of music styles mixing them all and gives a gentle new life. Like a new reborn element from this wide universe Xavier Boscher is embarking you into this time traveling machine through musical history and makes it softer than the palm of you hands.

Guitars and keyboards with samples arranged to flow into one piece , bring nine songs for the travellers who likes to fly away from reality. This talented musician who wrote twelve albums on his own and participated to other bands such as Nebuleyes, Misanthrope, Continuum…settled his own sound and is apart from most of all guitarists we know. The seventh track “Cells” has Jean-Jacques Moreac his old bass player friend , the second track “Illumination” is one of the strongest song amongst “Blastocyst” . Each track has a life on itself while keeping the main theme of the albums.

We are inside the universe ‘s creation all the cells giving birth after an explosion of music pleasure, inlfuences Peter Gabriel, Yes, Dream Theather, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre, Muse, Joe Satriani..and many more from any musical styles you can find. Just listen and let yourself driving into his world :

Now you got it, you may check his music and buy the awesome album on Bandcamp  or Digital platforms  99/100.
