Conspiracy of Blackness: “Pain Therapy” CD and Digital 22nd September 2023 Wormhole death records. Italy Modern Metal band.

I came across this album through links to videos on Utube, checked the band, and saw on their website, that the album can be played freely. This blew me away, the sound and compositions. It appears they got signed recently by the Italian label (ain’t surprising), who has re-released the album through their label.

Starting in 2008, they made their way through the media with a big recognition throughout the years. They developed their sound and exposed themselves live. This new album has a strong power and melody with a dark yet obsessed attraction.

Grazia Riccardo‘s voice catches your soul and takes your breath away. You can’t leave, she possesses your soul and mind. Heavy voice and warm melody love, shredding your heart with pleasure. Albeit the music is on the same vibe, powerful pounding drums, and down-tuned guitars, the atmosphere of a dark movie where you are feeling happy.

Death has taken you away from this life. Yet you are absorbed by this melancholy surrounding you with a warm welcome. Impression of being born again, like being plunged into the bathtub. A dream where you see and feel everything. Pretty difficult to set in a box, they are using every part of the music style blending in the scene with a strong powerful album to blast the world.

The lyrical content, as the cover album, describes pretty well the life we are living with all the difficulties encountered. Loud and heavy, the music takes you down into the abyss of mankind. Well-worked vocal melodies with emotions, capture the essence perfectly of what to feel and comprehend.

A beautiful masterpiece to set Conspiracy of Blackness on the way to stardom.

Check it out:

Influences Evanescence, Dust in Mind, Metalite, Cecile Delpoîo, and many more.

Nine tracks send you into the deepest feelings of your inner self. Each song is living through emotions and events occurring. Like a theater act, the vocals change with different intensities, growls on one song, church spoken words, sounds, piano, clear voice, and passages like flying in a smooth cloud.

Life is described with the music. Overall a beautiful piece of art. Hard to stop listening to it in a loop all day!

A must-have masterpiece 100/100.
