Frostmoon Eclipse : “The Legacy II” CD April 2019 Black Tears Records. Italy Black Metal band.

Formed in 1994 by Claudio Alcara (Stroszek, Aere Aeternus, Macabre Omen), is the oldest Black Metal band emerging from the scene of this little country. This album regroups many songs released in demos and split albums among never released songs. A must have for the fans of the genre. Very active , the band released at least every year from diverse labels demos, split LP and CDs.

The band toured Europe in 2012 after many albums on Lps made by labels from many countries such as France , where they got a deal with Osmose Productions. The bio is pretty amazing as they have changed so many times labels and released albums and split, It is a quest for the fans to gather all the collection .

I must say I am very impressed to see an extreme Metal band, leading its way through time releasing everything they can to keep a trace in musical history. The good thing is they have probably the biggest records collection for a band that is mostly spread by little labels and in the extreme underground world.

Have a listen :

Nice classic guitar parts, fast tempos and all the elements of Black Metal makes Frostmoon Eclipse a great band to blast your ears to. Twelve tracks with old and new songs as live ones. They kept the style of the nineties with that raw sound most bands of that era had. I invite all people who are fans to check them out if you haven’t yet.

The album ends with an Emperor cover song, in the overall it is a good album with a good mix and can be enjoyed by many , some punk and hardcore riff will get lots of Metal Heads moshing and in love with the band 96/100.
