Fury : “The Grand Prize” Digital & CD 2nd April 2020 Self Released. UK Heavy Metal band.

The english band is still here, stronger than ever releasing the third album of their life time. Right in the digital age with amazing cover artwork and album available on every digital platforms,  but the CD still is the best to own. A little line up change but they don’t loose their power. The new bass player is just the great Becky Baldwin !

So you can expect only great tunes with such good musicians. A team to kick the world in which they have already hit hard with their previous albums. While the image showing fast sensation, musically they are not speed. It is much more groovy and melodic with riffs remembering the early eighties bands.

Catchy riffs, vocal melodies a whole lot of great vibes and feel. Full of hit singles, for sure Fury knows how to write good tunes to get your heart melting. Another album that will reach the charts ! It’s amazing to hear such great bands reviving the good years and helping to keep spreading through decades.

Check that cool video :

So you like it already? good cos the whole album is like eating chocolate. It will get you tears and passion, your heart will get caught up with those emotions. A band that leaves a big trace in the music history for long. Using the magic melodies and kick ass riffs, Jake Elwell is an amazing guitarist who knows how to write stunning solos.

One song is like an eighties movie soundtrack with a popish vibe. Julian Jenkins‘s voice gets it right onto those great feelings. Called “Upon The Lonesome Tide” is like an hymn of love. You will all head bang and worship this band, if you haven’t done it yet. Nice drumming from Tom Fenn who masters the demon, getting those rocking bits to drive the songs into memorial parts.

“The Grand Prize” is the winning album for April

Plenty of good influences ranging from Triumph, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Blackfoot, Survivor, Savatage, Brian Adams, Def Leppard.. You will hear many more for sure. Great videos to get this pearl a must have and following them until they die. I just don’t understand why this awesome band doesn’t have a label yet. It is amazing to see that great bands have to do it all themselves those days.

The world for sure has changed, but music will forever stay and help us lighting up our hearts and souls. Thanks to bands such as Fury for giving the life a reason to live 100/100.
