Kaine : “A Crisis Of Faith” CD & LP & Digital 5th February 2018 Pointy Halo Productions. UK Heavy Metal band. Here is the last album from this band that started back in 2009 and made three good albums in the traditional Metal reminding often the early 80’s . It makes them apart from the usual bands and although they have done it all on their own , they deserve a great coverage and support.
Interviewed for The Metal Mag several times ,they are living music and do everything to make it happen. Another great cover artwork that sets the mood of the album. A groovy classy rocking album with speed moments , it has everything to bring you joy as thoughts while digging the lyrics and enjoying the melodic tunes.
The great thing is they really have the English sound and reminds even many underground bands. The cover artwork reflects well the English cemetery you can find in many places. An intro with a classic guitar riffs sending you into the land of peaceful place with an edge of Metallica “One” for a bit , moving to kick the start of the next song making it a great entrance for letting you come slowly but surely into the Kaine atmosphere.
Musically they are keeping their way through their own path, it’s still the same band with a much rounded sound that would easily play on radios. We can say they have gained their ‘Faith’ in giving us the great music they are playing with their heart.
As the band is so great you can have a listen to this awesome album before buying it and make up your mind although I’m sure you will buy it as fan as you are :
At the end their is a song “The Mind is Willing” that has another singer..reminding Avril Lavigne Punky Rock tunes…which probably is the modern touch they brought with those melty pop rock melodies. Neither less the whole album is kicking and has great songs to mosh to.
‘A Crisis of Faith’ is a journey to the land of the souls who are flowing between the nature and tombs, it’s impossible to listen to only one song. Once you started the album you’re into the Gates that will take your spirit, Kaine knows how to capture your senses and spill their melodies through your veins.
Many influences are easy to hear from Area 54, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Helion Prime…You can buy the album from their bandcamp page to support the guys and get one of their work in physical or digital form…So embark into the floating machine 98/100.
