Knightress: “Unbecoming” Single 3rd July 2026 Sýna Music. French Metal band.
The band is back after six years. A brand new song and an album coming in November later this year. Led by the violinist Emily Palen (Violin, voice, piano), who after a very good album in 2020. Decided to move on to the modern Metal sound with growls and technical instrumentation.
She was born in the States and obviously moved to France where she found the musicians for her band. Originally formed in the classical music world, her path opened relationship and work with Foo Fighters, John Paul Jones, and Eric McFadden.
She recorded in Paris at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606. It’s natural she went on pursuing the search for French brilliant musicians. After an extensive tour, they are ready to release a second album in a different music style closer to extreme metal with a violin.
Check the new track:
Influences: Architects, Spiritbox, Gojira, Paradise Lost, Eleine, Eclipse, Peter Gabriel, ODC, and many more.
The new single has that oriental touch, with heaviness and deep dark side. Knightress is evolving with many music styles in each song. While she was doing the growling voice in the single last year. This new year ‘s single has a male growling making it closer to Death Metal style. Emily Palen concentrating into melodic voice. A blend of eighties pop rock with modern Metal.
A music that will speak to the new breed. When the beauty meets the beast.
A brilliant song like everything they released so far 100/100.
