Lumberjacks : “Alone” CD & Digital 5th May 2018 Self Release. French Rock / Doom / Stoner / Heavy Metal band. A band wondering if aliens are on earth? A brilliant band logo and a cover kind of showing a face… A cool heavy riff pounding that will get you moving at live shows. Taking influences from the late sixties and making it with the new sound that explodes your speakers.

It will please all the new kids that get closer to those bands who have it hard with a nice rockin attitude. It’s right kick in the butt so it will shake your days of power. The music lovers will dig this pretty easily due to all the influences.

The first track “Birds and Satellite” set up the tunes for an amazing experience that will leave you speechless. We can say those guys are great musicians and it sounds anything else than french music. It’s heavy as fuck , well mixed, well played it just gets into your blood like sugar to explode your senses to make you mosh.

The third song “Fervent Believer” is a groovy song with some special vibe that you can find in different music kind. The whole sound is special to the theme of the album and with the lyrics, this gives a brilliant universe.

Influences ranging from : White Zombie , Monster Magnet , Black Sabbath , Thea , Black Label Society , Jimi Hendrix , The Donnas , Twisted Sister, ACDC , Guns ‘n Roses , Billy Idol , The Scorpions , ZZ top , Muse , Ministry , David Bowie …

The fourth song “The Abduction” is like a song you’ve heard many times it just gets right into your heart, emotions , kick ass riffs , it got it all to move you. Nine songs well worked around the subject of aliens, if you like X-files and else about strange things happened in this world for decades and the questioning,  it might touch you straight into your soul thinking of the other form of living. “This Tiny Engine” the sixth song is the one that is really pumping out the album driving force.

It surely getting you on the path of the road movie amongst the sci-fy series that have filed our youths and today ‘s tv network. If some parts remind you few bands while listening it is hard to picture one influence such it has many parts that makes Lumberjacks a unique band 99/100.
